As a variation of traditional pilates, which already targets deep core and pelvic floor muscles, this prenatal pilates will offer extra support to bodies experiencing all stages of pregnancy. This class will offer modifications of pilates exercises that will help prevent an exaggerated diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction and back pain—all common issues that arise from pregnancy. The teacher will focus on breath work, balance, control and alignment that to maintain safety of the student will also providing activation to deep core and core-stabilizing muscles along the front line and spine.
