In cooperation with Balanzs, Willemieke has developed the Barre Fundamentals Teacher Training. An intense 50 hour Barre Teacher Training  to equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to start teaching barre!

The training is stooled upon the principles of classical ballet and is considered a precision training, focusing on key principles as alignment, placement and embodiment.

Whether you are looking to start a new career, supplement an existing one with a practical and dynamic skill set, or simply want to improve your practice by deepening your understanding of barre from the inside out, this program will give you the tools you need. Questions? Mail us now!

 

And: after completing the fundamentals of Barre, you will have the possibility to also join the Barre Accelerated Teacher Training (dates will follow) to bring the focus to teaching the barre practice confidently and effectively. Using different techniques and deepening the methodologies, you will learn to truly make an impact while teaching.

The Barre Fundamentals Training takes place at our Mariniersweg studio in Rotterdam, on 3 consecutive weekends, Saturdays and Sunday from 13:00 – 20:00h.

Saturday November 9, 16 and 23, 2024.
Sunday November 10, 17 and 24 2024.

The payment for this 50h training is €879,-

When you join, you’ll also receive a 20% discount on your classes at Balanzs, as long as the training lasts.

I always thought that going to the gym three times a week would make me strong person. But after following this Barre-class for a couple of years now, I know this is not true. This class is brilliant. It is a mix of strength-, flexibility- and a touch of classical ballet exercises. I Like the ballet exercises very much because they make me use muscles I even didn’t know I had. I am so much more aware of my whole body now. But the credits are all for my favourite teacher Willemieke. Her sparkling, passioned personality makes you to want give the best of yourself because she is doing that too. But also the skills she has! It is a delight to watch her move. Her classes are intense, a lot of fun and …..killing….! Every week she manages to invent new exercises to torture us! And one thing I know for sure now……dancers are top athletes! This class has become my ultimate challenge.

I am following Willemieke her Barre class for years now and I almost never skip one! I even changed my work schedule so I am able to attend two classes a week. Willemieke has a sparkling and cheerful personality that makes her students enthusiastic. On top of that she is an amazing dancer who is a joy to watch. She knows the ballet technique very well and she will help you to get the best out of you!

The barre class of Willemieke is AMAZING! It is a killer and fun workout. She has a great selection of beats to move too. I have been going to it for aprox. 5 years and it never gets boring. She is super creative and is making each class unique. She is always bringing positive energy to the class. Super recommended if you like moving to music and doing a good workout!
